Thank you for your beta offers everybody! I'm going to give the fic another night so I'll know better where it's going and then I'll get back to you all for certain. But I'm moved and relieved and very thankful. *hugs*

I beg to disagree about the writing and the predictability. I think the writing is pretty darn amazing, especially compared with most of the drivel that is on tv lately. That certain minute or so on 'Lost' tonight had me crying/shouting 'NO! You can't do this to me!' They actually convinced me for a brief moment that they would actually do 'it', despite their knowledge of what a large number of their fanbase are watching the show for. But seriously, every single flashback sequence has been anything but predictable to me. Last week's ep had me on edge so many times I lost count, and this week, I was truly shocked when I realized what was hanging in that tree. Hurley's talk with the kid was excellent too. And the week before that, with Sayid...very intense stuff, maybe a bit cliche at times, but always with twists that I never saw coming.

I understand that I don't watch nearly as much episodic tv as you do, (in fact, the only shows I regularly tune in for are "Lost", "South Park", and "The Daily Show"), so maybe that's why it seems so predictable to you. I'd like to think it's that you have more tv exposure, and not that I'm stupid or gullible and therefore easy to trick into being surprised by bad writing.

I kinda wished they would have done it to shake things up. But of course they wouldn't. I'm personally a Locke fan and really don't care for the Charlie character anyway so what do I know. I've gotten used to the writing styles of all the people who work on Lost so I can't say anything on that. It is what it is although it is predicable at some times there are only so many things you can do on an island and you don't want to use them all up in one season, even if you do use flashbacks.

Another weird reason why they couldn't do it. 47. You have to have the 47 survivors of the crash. It started out with 48 but now there are 47. Mr. Abrams and Co. love the number 47. If that number changed to 46...Well, 46 is not 47.

Sigh, why don't I watch LOST? Why does it always have to come one when I'm out of the house, or crying? -.-; Guess I'll just have to wait for the DVDs. Sigh.

And yes! Phantom of the Opera! I saw the trailer for it when I saw Finding Neverland, and I squeaked. So very exciting! Ohhh, Eric... how I long for thee. It's going to be so good!

I giggle every time I see that icon pop up. I should probably get rid of mine, so that you have sole rights to it. Hee! *hugs!*

Dude, how did you not know? But still, yes, mmn, Phantom. Etc. Rawr 8) Except...I sort of have to haul butt down to Boston see it, since it's only playing in select cities. Which means that I probably won't see it the day that it comes out. Wtf.

But anyway, yes. Gerard Butler looks wicked hot as Eric.
