Oh. My. Gosh. It started snowing around 3 or 4am here... AND IT HASN'T YET STOPPED!!! It's gorgeous outside! Must be... I don't know 4 inches? 5?
Poor flowers... but it's soooooooooooooo pretty out again!!! YAY SNOW!!!!!!!!!!
I knew it wasn't over. It just did't feel like winter was over to me. Everyone walking around and complaining that winter lasted too long and oh no too much snow. But it didn't feel like winter was over. They told me I was mad not to believe in spring but look! 5 inches of snow and it's still coming! Who's mad now? BWAHAHAHAHAHA! ;-)
Anyway, this feels like the end to me, it really does now. *sniffles* Ah. I love being right. LOL It's so pretty out!!!!!!!!!

Date: 2003-03-30 10:51 am (UTC)Anyway, YAY! I wasn't sure how north it had gone... it certainly started early here. Maybe it's a good thing you didn't have to go into work today? :-) It's been in the upper 70's here a few times this past week, actually. This is great :-) heehee

Date: 2003-03-30 12:01 pm (UTC)My school almost never closes for snow- no matter how much we get. We closed for one day this year, and that's the first time in 7 years that had ever happened. As long as our buses (which resemble snow plows) can make it through their rounds, we have class. Even though they never shovel bus stops and people slip and break their hips on the ice... we still have class.

Date: 2003-03-30 12:47 pm (UTC)Yeah, it's started to melt now (it's 36 degrees out and there's bright sun) but it was gorgeous this morning :-) The roads are very drivable, too, so that's good.

Date: 2003-03-30 03:10 pm (UTC)My friends down in Maryland are raving about the snow (some good, some bad). I'm just glad I didn't have to drive in it, although it would have been nice not to have rearranged my plans for the evening so I could be safe at home when the snow hit.
