Happy joy joy

tarotgalWas a nice day today. We ended up going to Old Town after all. Had a very nice day with family. It was POURING rain today for a while, but it stopped just before we left and stayed away the rest of the day. So it was nice and gloomy all day but didn't have to worry about getting wet. So nice. Traffic was terrible but somehow we avoided all the accidents- we counted over 20 cops, ambulances, and fire trucks, though. Lovely decorations. Even spent some time in my favorite store in the world, the Scottish Merchant and Tobacconist (If I've never mentioned it, I ADORE the smell of cigars! They should make a Yankee candle flavor of that smell...)
I weighed myself today. Lost about 7 pounds since the last time I weighed myself. NO bloody idea why. I haven't been doing anything different. I'm walking a lot, but not nearly as much as I was a few months ago. Still, I'm terribly happy. That's a big deal for me. Last year or so I've not really changed in weight apart from maybe gaining or losing a pound or two every few months. So... yeah... happy moi! Hope I can keep it up. Wish I knew why in the world I lost weight, though. That would make it easier to lose more :-)
Now I just need to lose another 38 and I'm at my pre-college weight! LOL Yeah, like that will happen. I was dead skinny back then. But that was also before I developed leg muscles. I'll settle for losing another 23 and keeping/building muscles. That would make me SOOoooooooo happy. *off to do more sit-ups*
Finished my shopping yesterday and wrapped presents. That was nice. Glad to be done with that!
