I got a tad carried away while writing this. Used a slightly different tone than usual... though most of my regularness came through by the end, I think. *shrug* Anyhoo, I had fun with this one. Ghods but I love a sniffly Obi-Wan! Hope it turned out all right. Sorry it's a day later than I'd intended.

That was wonderful. So great! You're right. You did start it out differently, but it was def. a good change. I really like to see the new places and different styles that you take on with Obi. What I was noticing was that you've been on this new quest to explore a lot of new fandoms, etc. Well, just some comforting words of support. Even if you don't really get to do this, something fun about working with fandoms that you're fmailiar with is that you get to do some new things with them. You can really explore SW, HP, etc. because you know them so well, you know? Like for instance, you totally went on to the Obi h/c fic where Obi was a sex slave, and you did Quinton and Ben, etc. It really gives you a good chance to look at the old fandoms in a new and exciting light. So no worries. Either way, only good fics and fun can come of this.

So anyway, back to the wonderful story. I really liked Obi's mood. And it always makes me squee! happily when Obi tries to hide his illnesses from his Iknoweverything master. I'm glad that Qui stayed in character, he's always trying to teach Obi a thing or two. Good for him. LOL.

Obi finally giving up in the end was adorable. The image of that whole thing was too great. I really liked the contrast between the sleep clothes and the bed versus the banquet and the formal robes. I don't know why, but it really helped out imagry, etc.
