Sneeze-related
Feb. 3rd, 2005 01:39 amLots of cold/flu/sniffling comics lately. No outright sneezes though *pouts*
Last night I was watching tv with sister to keep her company (she's got a cold, mind) and the episode of 'Everybody Loves Raymond' where he has a cold and they all go to Italy was on. And then that was directly followed by my faaaaaaaavorite episode of 'Dharma & Greg' where Greg has a cold and sneezes while in bed with Dharma (oohhhh yum) and Paul (from Highlander: Raven) is the guest star (my best online friend and Kindred Spirit is the president of his official fan club!) so that was awesome! Back-to-back sneezing guys- JUST when I wasn't able to pop in a tape. Just my luck!
Sister made an "ewwww!" comment when Greg sneezed. Heh. Good to know she's not into this. Not that there's anything wrong with it! LOL! I'd just be freaked out if my baby sister had the same sexual fetishes as I have. Ew. That would be a bit weird, I think. (Talking about things we consider attractive in guys is one thing, but kinks and fetishes, not so cute) I'm much more comfortable with people thinking sneezes are not so attractive/funny because I blush far more when people say things like comparing sneezes to orgasms. Not that I can actually talk about either out loud or even say the word 'sneeze' but it's more comforting for me when they're so easily dismissed by the people around me. Then I can just sit back and enjoy and not worry.
Just watched a little of Craig Ferguson on the Late Late Show and he was in the middle of an interview and had to sneeze. So of course they launch into a whole discussion about looking silly when just about to sneeze and how God made the sneeze go away and I'm trying my HARDEST to pay close attention to every delicious moment while trying to seem like I'm not listening to a word.
What goes on in my mind: Damn! I wish the sneeze hadn't backed off! Sexy Scottish man sneezing! That's my dream come true!
What comes out of my mouth: Oh, look, Mom. The cat is lying on a fork and trying to look comfortable.
What goes on in my mind: OMG Adorable Joe Mantegna just made the pre-sneeze look! *goes all hot*
What comes out of my mouth: Ha ha, funny kitty. Oh, I'll sweep that part of the floor. I'm standing right here anyway.
Went upstairs after that so I missed the beginning of Stan Lee's interview. I turned it on just as they're talking about Peter/Spiderman having allergies. And how Stan proposed/wrote something of that sort for the movie but it never worked out. Of course, though, there's a Spiderman 3, so stay tuned. Double Guhhhhhh! And squeal! *G* GOOD episode of the show tonight, indeed! Wish I'd been able to tape it. Ah well. Maybe it shall repeat one day.

Date: 2005-02-03 07:13 am (UTC)Man, I hope this show re-runs some day! He did the whole holding up a finger and pausing. And then insisting that he had to sneeze and that's why he wasn't paying attention. VERY with the cute *EG*

Date: 2005-02-03 09:30 am (UTC)First the talked about how Stan won a lawsuit he brought against the people who were using Spiderman without paying him royalties. Next they talked about how he's developing cartoons and comics that people can download and watch on their cell phones. Stan said he's making a Ringo Starr superhero cartoon. Craig said he'd like to be a sidekick. Then they went into talking about how Stan's characters are different than others because they have flaws so regular people can relate to them. Then he went into talking about Spiderman's flaws and that's where you tuned in.
