tarotgalJust saw a commercial for RENT on TV. It's going to be in my area in mid-March. Tickets available now. YAY! I'm so excited!!! Must buy tickets to one of the five shows tomorrow. Yeah, I know, I could always do the stand in line thing since I'm poor but I can scrape together the money. I'd rather those seats go to people who can't see it at all otherwise. Oohhh! SO excited! *pops in the soundtrack* RENT! YAYNESS! Can't wait!
I have decided tonight that if I want a relationship with actual forever potential I need to date artists. Seriously. I need someone who understands my need for spending hours writing and someone who understands the art of creation inside & out.
I've watched Young Adam three times now. (Twice with the different commentaries) I appreciate it a hell of a lot more now after listening to the commentaries. It's not very deep in some ways but in others it's incredibly intellectual and expressive. I keep getting stuff out of it every time I watch it. I find it very interesting... and terribly sad in how much I can relate to parts (er, the detached writer parts, not the guilt over death parts). But, yeah, I like it a lot. *pets movie*
