Short post

Had an exhausting day. Would post more but I'm currently uber-obsessed with this Legolas/Gimli fic Lady Korana inspired me to write last night. I'm really enjoying writing it. *snuggles the fic* Earlier I had this whole post worked out in my mind, trying to explain how once in a while I write a story that I just love and don't want to post because it's special to me- this is one of those (but I will be posting it, I promise... just after a few days when I've had it to myself more!) I started it late last night around this time and I'm trying to finish it up tonight... though I'm exhausted. Sorry, I'm rambling. Point is, I'm happily writing :-)

I did indeed finish it last night and I'm quite happy with it! Yay!!

Then, in the shower afterwards, I got the SW one all worked out in my head. I made some notes when I got out so that should go quickly as well- not QUITE as quickly, mind. Finishing a story in 24 hours with a day of work and lack of sleep in there is rare for me. Of course, after 7 hours of sleep total in two days it's starting to get to me. I'll have to work hard to stay up for Lost tonight.

I don't want to go to work today! *whimper* I want to go back to sleep!

Ah, Rufus Wainwright! I'm waiting for that episode to come on again in about ten minutes. Too bad I just can't skip over the Barbara Walters interview. I actually have already seen this episode twice, the original broadcast then again the next day on, what is it, MSN on cable at my grandma's house. :-) Good song, though. I've been meaning to buy the Aviator soundtrack since I saw the movie in December...

You know what I realized right after I posted what's above? That episode of Conan isn't on until tomorrow night. Grrr...I'm sure you already realized that, though...Stupid Tom Arnold.

Yeah, I meant that the Barbara Walters episode is going to be on again tonight or Friday night. When you watch Conan as much as I do the guests start running together...The Barbara Walters one is funny because Conan had really puffy hair that night and she helped him with hair spray...Did you think that Rufus Wainwright looked kinda like Christoper Walken with his hair slicked back like that? Good performance. I like old big band songs. I taped it again as well.
