We get showtime (well, one channel of) free this week! So I get to watch the L Word this week! I turned on the tv and there was adorable Peter from QAF. Squeeee! Totally makes my week. Totally! *G*

Anyone watch Jeopardy tonight? One of the Daily Doubles was about Thomas' first movie which starred Fred Otts doing this. And I totally knew it, of course! But I made the mistake of saying "Yay! I know this!" and then actually had to GIVE the answer(er, question)! Damn it! LOL! The woman got it wrong- said using a trapeze. And I actually said "Sneezing" out loud. Then quickly covered it with "Everyone who's studdied the history of film knows the first moving picture..." But, gah! Stupid me for being so excited about knowing that. LOL Was cute to hear it mentioned, though. There was another one a few weeks ago where the question was 'Sneeze' and I was thinking of how I'd not have been able to say that out loud. LOL Anyway, was amusing.

Going to go watch 'Unconditional Love' again. The L Word is taping. Squeee! I'm not a huge fan of the opening sequence, but I'm sure a year from now when I finally get to see the whole season on DVD I'll get used to it in no time.

I saw that! Or actually I heard it. I was in the other room but the TV was turned up loud enough so I could hear. My dad answered trapeze as well but then went "Oh, yeah, that's right" when he heard the real, uh, question. I knew it but didn't say it out loud because I was alone and well, yeah. After it was over he came in and asked me if I had heard the question and knew the answer. All I said was "Uh, yeah, of course."

I said it out loud too! My poor husband looked at me and said 'how on earth do you know that?' I just shrugged and pointed out my Mom had dragged me to Edison's house when I was younger *blushes*

Where is everyone getting trapeze from?

I have absolutely no idea, but that's exactly what I said last night after reading Meg's post! LOL Maybe there's some famous man-on-trapeze old short movie?

Maybe. Odd.

I can answer that. There is a series of shorts that are of people working out at a gym or something. There is one of a guy on a balance beam, a guy on those suspended ring things and another of two people on a trapeze. They were all made about the same time so I could see where it would be easy to confuse which ones came first.
