Yay!

Well, made it to the airport and back just fine. I got there too early so had to pay more $ than I would have liked... but I didn't get lost and I got gas in the car. And while I was waiting I wrote some of the sex scene I was stuck on... so that's good. Should be finished within the next hour or two. And then I can get to work on another story in the series. I need to go through and rename the few I've finished, too.

Question... would people object to me posting all parts of this original character series together, even if some of it doens't include sneezing? I don't think there will be enough of the "non" parts to risk my putting it on my other site... and I'd like to put it all together in one place. So would people get annoyed? I know I'm sometimes annoyed when things that don't really fit end up in specific archives. I'm not making much sense, am I? Sorry. I just thought I'd ask opinions. And in the end I'll probably do what I want anyway since it's my realm, but I don't want people annoyed from reading stories with no sneezing on a sneezing site.

It's Thursday again... and, interestingly enough, that again means EWAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SQUEEE! He's on Leno tonight talking about Robots, I presume (though so much has been out about Island lately, too, so who knows what they'll talk about). Happy happy! I'm going to go find directions to the new movie theater tonight. I asked at work but no one knew exactly where they were. Which isn't helpful. Bah! But I shall find the big comfy theater tomorrow- I am determined! :-) Ewan!

Thanks for the input & encouragement :-) I think I'm going to go with a label of some sort to indicate sneeze content is missing.
And, yeah, the series is set around a gay nightclub... so it's probably not your cup of tea even without the original character thing. Most of the parts are rated PG at the moment, though :-) ANyway, yes, thanks!

Actually, technically the term "slash" applies only to fanfiction. It's about pairing already-established characters together (and usually in a non-canon way... and then usually in a male/male way). So it's not really the same as creating characters that just happen to be gay and were written specifically for each other. Now, if someone really got into my 'verse and took two of the characters like Nik and Dom (who are NEVER EVER EVER going to get together in my world!) and put them together, that would probably be considered slash. But.. ick... Nik/Dom is just icky. LOL Hope no one does that... LOL

LOL! Try??? Actually, I've written just as much (if not more if you count non-posted) original fiction as fanfiction. I posted one on my website just last week, in fact! But as you probably don't visit that particular section of my website, and as you weren't around in the days when all I wrote were original character fics, I won't hold it against you. heehee :-)

I vote for posting it all here. I would definetly read it - even the non-sneezing parts.( Though of course the parts "with" would be more "exciting".) As long as part of it has sneezing and it's the same characters I would want to continue on with the characters and the story.
Does that make any sense?????
Anyway I say post it here.

Marvelous! Thank you! That's what I'm leaning to right now. I really don't know what it's going to be number-wise (i.e. how much will have sneezing) but right now it's a 3 with and 1 without. But it's *very* encouraging to know you'd not want to skip huge parts of the story and neglect the storyline just for the sneezing (at least, not always)

Go for it! In my experience, the more you work with original characters, the more likely it is that they'll pull you in non-fetish directions. And I'm all for reading whatever you're feeling like writing these days -- your characters have always been well-conceived and deep, and they have interesting things to say, do and think, so I'm all for whatever you want to share.

Hmm, maybe you could just list any non-sneezing story in a new category? Put up a header of some kind, "Original, Non-Fetish Fiction" to "warn" those who might not want to read it, then place all of your OC non-sneezefic in that little cyberbox.

For me it goes both ways. Characters I create for non-fetish stories end up, eventually, pulling me towards wanting to sneeze. And I've definitely had characters just for sneezefics who've demanded non-sneezing storylines as well. Which basically comes out to the fact that I like plot and story... but I also like sneezing *G*

Definitely a good suggestion! Thank you :-) I want to put all the stories from this "universe" on the same page though. So maybe I'll go with a label to make that distinction and mention at the top of the page that there's a mix. At this early point, I've no idea what the mix might be... but I have a couple with sneezing and one without... so I'll just take it one step at a time :-)
