Dogsitting & Neville

tarotgalWell, I'm home from dog/house sitting finally. Had to drive to the airport and back to pick up neighbors and I didn't get lost this time either. Harrah! Horrah? How's that supposed to be spelled? ANyhoo, was fun. Love that dog. So sad that they're moving away in a few months! He's my parents' dog's best friend. There's, like, a 7 year age difference but they still play with each other with much energy.

On one of the Neville-centered lists I'm on, someone posted a plot bunny a few days ago... er, maybe a week ago actually. Anyway, it's a little strange, but it struck me as interesting so I started a LONG fic for that. It's going to be massive. Reminds me of the massive Remus/Sirius fic I started a few years ago (strangely the document name for it is something like RSshort because I didn't know what I was getting into!) in that there are a lot of flashbacks and TONS of angst. I'm REALLY enjoying writing it *snuggles poor Nev*
Arg! I can't believe it's pt1 of the SG1 season finale already! I haven't even watched the premiere yet! Or a single episode of Atlantis! I really need to watch them ASAP to be sure I haven't missed taping one of them. But I've been watching much much of Buffy. Oohhhhh my GODS but I love! *G* The last one I watched was... Buffy's 18th Bday. I could have jumped right in there and hugged Giles to death there! *sniffles* I find it interesting to watch, since I have a vague idea of what happens in the series... I just don't know HOW or WHY. So it's been great to finally see Angel evil (after all the references to it in his series) and sent to Hell and brought back... and Oz! And evil!Spike, of course... yummy *drool* And Willow starting to get into witchcraft... yeah, it's very interesting watching and knowing something of what happens later on. I thought that would make it boring, but I'm anything but. I know a little, but not enough to be bored.
My throat is killing me. NOT a good sign. *worries*
My sister's been on a plane to Italy for spring break with her art class for an hour now. *is very envious* It's her first time in Europe and her first big trip alone. Oh, and she just got accepted into her first choice college WITH a presidential scholarship- the best one they offer. I'm very proud of her. But I still think she doesn't work nearly hard enough and skips classes too much. But that's because I never skipped a single class and the idea of sleeping when there was an assignment to do was completely foreign to me. So my expectations are a tad high.
Ugh! And throat is itchy. ARG! Not getting sick... not getting sick... just tired after a hard week of working and housesitting at the same time... and sleeping in a cold basement in front of a drafty doggy door... not sick... not not not...
Am TRYING to see the trailer for The Island... but my dial-up connection is sooooo slow... It's taking forever.

But even so, I'd almost be willing JUST to see the trailer for The Island at this point! Stupid slow connection *kicks*
LOL About the screaming, though! What a pleasant, unexpected thing to see before a movie! :-)
I gasped so loudly twice in happiness when the Episode III trailer started right before Robots that the people right in front of me turned around to be sure I wasn't dying or something.
