tarotgalGot little-to-no sleep last night, sadly. Throat was killing me and I kept waking up every half an hour, which is very unusual indeed. So I got probably about 2 hours of sleep... maybe 3 hours at the most. Which led to a LONG day at work today. Left the house at 8:55am and didn't get back until 6:20pm-ish. The day was really weird, too. Among other things: a meeting with my boss' financial advisor, driving boss to get his wife's car fixed and back (I think the LotR tapes playing managed to scared him sufficiently! Poor Pip and the plantir), and then spending half an hour on the phone with Progressive trying to get boss' mother a decent auto insurance policy (which never happened). THough on a happy note, I finally figured out how to do all those deductions for social security and income tax and medicare so now I'll be able to get paid properly. Yayness :-)
At the risk of giving away my age (*wink*), my big happy moment was getting my new driver's license in the mail today. Yippie!!! That totally rocked.
I dug up the episodes of Buffy I taped back in January and found I was indeed caught up. So I popped one in and watched MORE than 2 episodes today- which was a thrill. One of them was the silent episode- which I LOVED. And another was the Giles-turns-into-a-demon episode which is my pick for the funniest episode so far. Maybe it was my lack of sleep, but I couldn't stop laughing multiple times. Even had to pause the tapes until my laughing fits died down. I don't know why, but so much struck me as really funny (okay, yeah, and maybe I rewound once just to hear Spike say that "tell me if you feel a sneeze coming on" line *blush*). Oh, and the one before that- the Spike gets all depressed and wants to off himself episode- was the very first episode with Spike I ever saw, many many years ago. So that was a treat to see again! Yayness!
Last night before going to sleep I was really upity... and a lovely Remus/Sirius bunny hit me. I don't think I'm going to write it until the good ol' MMoM rolls around. I swear... I get so excited at the prospect of all the lovely fics during a whole month revolving around my second favorite sexual kink/fetish. *blushes furiously, though grinning as well*

These were really hard, I know. I'm really impressed people got as many as they did, though!
Okay... I don't have to leave for work until a little after 1pm, so I'm going to get a goooooood sleep tonight for a change! Hmm... or watch just one more Buffy episode... or maybe both... *EG*
