Still tired today, though I'm starting to get used to it and resisting the urge to take a half dozen naps all day. So at least I'm getting stuff done despite the tired.
Dog peed on the pink chair we keep in the kitchen, tonight, apparently. So Parents took off the cover and found under the cover the small picture of my sister that we thought she threw away. She always HATED that picture of herself- she'd always turn it over when she walked in the room. Can't really blame her, since she looks very pissed and angry and sad in it (and she thinks she looks ugly and like a boy). But it's the very first picture we ever had of her and the rest of us adore it and have missed it. We haven't seen it in... gods... probably 15 years! My widdle sister *snuggles picture* I'm so incredibly relieved it was found! And I guess we all owe my sister an apology for us accusing her of throwing it out long ago! I'm just thrilled we found it. I can still remember when I first saw it. And I remember when we bought the little gold frame for it as we were looking through names in baby books *sigh* Happy memories :-)
Today I ordered the Buffy tapes I've been taping since last year and I finally found tapes 4 & 5. I fast-forwarded through tapes 2 & 3 to find I'd already seen those episodes, but unless I missed something, I should have the entire rest of the series (seasons 5 through 7) on tapes 4 through 12. So yay! Now I definitely don't have to wait every day to see the whole thing. Which is happy-making. Dawn confused me. Rather, I knew she existed so I was confused to find Buffy was an only child during the first part of the series. Then when she showed up I was doubly confused. LOL But I get it now. Good stuff. The last episode I saw today was No Place Like Home.
My parents decided that, due to the good weather, today would be a good day to start working on the kitchen cabinet fronts. They've been refinishing their kitchen for the last 2 years and it's nearly done. All that's left is to sand and pant half of the new cabinet doors. But they need fresh air for that so we all don't die of paint fumes. ANyway, they decided to do this in the basement which means they completely took over the room. I had a TINY space in which to do Tae Bo this afternoon. Smacked my hand against the home gym thingy and it still smarts, but on a whole I managed to work out without much problem in the tiny space not taken up by wood and paint and plastic and hardware and tools galore.
