tarotgalDentist... baaaaaaad. 2 hours and 20 minutes of torture. I was crying by the end because of all the stinging and the blood and they kept asking if they were hurting me and if I wanted to take a break and I kept insisting they just finish! On an up note, I was SO exhausted today that I fell asleep for about 10 minutes on and off in the chair while I was left alone waiting for the computer to pop my crown out. But now lots of owness... the side of my mouth where my lips meet and the inside of my cheek are all cut up. And my gums... they had to put a special cream on it to keep it from bleeding so much. And my jaw keeps locking closed tonight because it's so tired out. Insane, this is. Pure f-ing torture for nearly two-and-a-half hours and it only cost me $1,350. GAH!!! I swear, if there's a hell, this is mine. At least it's over for now. There's no soreness or anything... I just taste blood and my mouth's cut and tired. Have I mentioned how much I hate the dentist?
Got lost trying to get from dentist's to the mall. They redid the interchange and that part of town a few years back and I hadn't driven it since. Signs for the beltway EVERYWHERE but nothing pointing me to the mall. So I got lost and nearly hit a big red van that was in my blind spot. I felt SO bad about that. Luckily, no damage. And after driving around for 30 minutes I recognized a street and got on the parkway halfway across town and drove back to the mall. GAH!
And what's worse is it looks like the pretty theater I wanted to see Kingdom of Heaven in tomorrow isn't showing it! I could see Robots again there, but no KoH! *cries* So I'll have to go back to crappy theater at the mall I was just at today and, thus, I didn't have to make that special trip there today when I was on that side of town. I hate when that kind of thing happens. Growl. Totally won't be as enjoyable in teenybopper mall in really crappy old theater with tiny screen. *sigh*
I need to finish shopping for my Mom, too. I bought one thing today during the mall trip, but I need to get more. Mother's Day is Sunday and my mom's birthday is Thursday. So, yeah, shopping is needed. Now that my paycheck has cleared.
These pervy fic-a-days for the Lusty Month of May are taking a LOT out of me. Slightly harder for me than my SW fic-a-day series... but I'm trying.
It's killing me, though. I've had practically sleep the whole week. What with the hospital and the dentist and the work and the writing and the chores. Soooooooo very exhausted. Very very. Tired. And I brought a lot of work home today to do over the weekend (since I took off one day because of hospital trip and half the day today for dentist) so no sleep then, either. Especially if I have to wake up early to get to the movies while the little annoying kids are still in school.

Please be sure to post about Kingdom of Heaven when you go. I really want to see it - I told my husband we have to go but he has been wanting to see Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxay and my inlaws are headed to Las Vegas next week so I'll have no babaysitters til they're home :(

Date: 2005-05-06 09:33 pm (UTC)Thanks :-) And ditto! I ditched my dentist when I moved away to college and, thus, all the problems building over the last 5 years (i.e it's all my fault, really). Luckily, my new dentist is very nice and not scary... but I still hate it.

*blush* I'm impressed you're reading them! And I agree. I'm using other lads mainly as a contrast to Sirius... although there are a few pairings (like Remus/Bill) that I will enjoy for more. But most of the fics will be Remus/Sirius. I'm estimating about 17-20 will be Remus/Sirius out of the 31. Assuming I can keep up, which isn't the best of assumptions. I've spent about an hour today attempting to research cross-dressing, hoping to get inspired to write the next section- it's not working. *worries*
And they are a bit graphic, you're right. I'm trying to tone them down a little... but the pervy-ness keeps bouncing back when I'm halfway in the middle and I lose the battle. Ah well, if I can't write incredibly racy stuffy for the Lusty Month of May, when can I? :-) I appreciate you reading them even so *hugs*

I really want to see Hitchhiker's as well, being the computer science nerd that I am. But I've heard bad things from friends about it so I might wait until it's out on DVD. I really want to see KofH on the big screen- in a GOOD theater. So I may have to wait a week or two for it to hit the place I'd like to see it in. Stupid "opening in select theaters" add in the paper this morning *kicks* The Washington Post gave KofH a fantastic review today, though. Saying it was just as intelligent as entertaining/action-based, and saying Orli really proved he was a fantastic actor and that he could carry the whole movie. *sigh* I sooo want to see it! *whimpers* I've been taping every interview and special on TV about it. A&E, History Channel, HBO, Letterman, etc. Maybe I'll just watch them all today to console myself.
