R/S beta needed

Allo. I have another shameful plea for a beta for a non-sneezing (slightly angsty and possibly humorous) Remus/Sirius fic. There's one sex scene, but it's not *too* hard/graphic. It's just I think the fic isn't very good at the moment and could use some advice. It's written out long-hand and needs some fixing at the moment. But I should be done with it and ready for it to be betaed by Monday.

If anyone is available/interested, please let me know. If not, no worries. I can ask on other lists as well. It's just you all read the majority of my writings anyway and it's easier being told something sucks from someone I know/respect rather than some random beta (given my bad history with random betas in the past)

But it's a busy time. I totally understand. So no worries. But if anyone can at the moment, drop me a line. Thanks muchly!!! *huggles*


EDIT: I'm typing it up and editing it now as we speak, and I should add here that the fic suddenly now contains one small and one MASSIVE spoiler for HP6. So, yeah, just felt that was important to mention. Don't want to spoil anyone! It's also a Marauder Era fic.

I just added an addition on to my original request. The fic now has a few spoilers for HP6. Again, I won't have it in "ready" form until at least Monday (possibly early Tuesday morning, my time) so if you think you'll be done with the book by then, I would LOVE to have your help. Otherwise, I wouldn't want to spoil you. Darn new canon! :-)

No, it won't spoil anything for me. I got a lot of reading done today and only have two chapters left which I should be finishing tonight before I go to bed. So I'm still available to help if you need me. :-)

I was just about to jump up and down calling "Pick me!!! Pick me!!!" But then I saw your edit. :( I'm hoping to start reading tonight or tomorrow and hopefully be finished by Tuesday or Wednesday depending on how much attention my children need during that time :) If you still need someone mid week I'd be available when I finish. (Though we know I'm a very inexperienced beta....)

I may very well need a beta on my other R/S fic- it's just incredibly unfinished at the moment and I want to get rid of this one first before I go recruiting anyone else. That story will contain no spoilers (except perhaps for the fact that Sirius owns a motorbike and Remus is a werewolf) and it's Marauder's Era also. So I'll drop you a line when I've finished that other story (hopefully by next week) and see if you're still able.

Can't wait, Hon. With what I've been asked, recently, to beta, anything you could write, even if it were a Harry/Giant Squid NC-17, would be a much needed, much welcomed breath of fresh air.

*more hugs* I definitely feel your pain! And I hope my fic isn't *too* bad when I'm done editing. It feels a little... cold to me still. So I'm hoping it will warm up during my editing.

Well... I've been toying with the idea of writing tentacle porn for the first time, actually. I've always been a bit put off but mystified by it and in the last few days it's been calling to me. But I promise I wouldn't make you (or anyone) beta anything like that :-) I'm just far too pervy. LOL
