Just can't win
Jul. 25th, 2005 05:49 pmMy chest/stomach hurts again. Like it did before I started taking meds. Not a happy thing. Growl. Luckily, Mom's feeling better so no need to take the dog for a dinner walk in high-90's heat right now.
So I got home and there was a $90 charge on my credit card bill I KNOW I didn't make. Called up the place and he said it was a free trial program that I supposedly started in Sept 2002 and was billed for in July 2003. It was for some roadside assistance package I am absolutely CERTAIN I never purchased. They said they sent me a renewal notice in July 2004 to my college address. I wasn't even LIVING there in July 2004. Something's very fishy here. No idea what the company is or why it got ahold of my credit card. But I'm going to call and get my credit card records from 03 and 04 and figure this out. Then I'm going to call them back tomorrow and cancell the damn service or call the dispute center for my credit card. Because this is totally fucked up. Never even heard of this company before. NO clue where this came from but I'm sure as heck not paying for it!
It never stops, does it? If it's not one thing it's another. Maybe it's just the exhaustion and chest pains talking. But at least I have tomorrow off of work so I can spend the whole day making calls to straighten this out, if needed.
