Today's Sudoku puzzle in the Washington Post KICKED MY A$$! I've progressed to the point where I can do all puzzles (even hard ones) in pen (without writing in "little numbers" and erasing) without making mistakes. And today I got completely stuck. Growl! Hiss!
I managed to get a few things done this weekend. Thank You cards for AIDS Walk contributions, reading through some of the Praxis II book, registering more Bookcrossing books, signing up for Blockbuster Online (Squeee! Starsky & Hutch and Farscape here I come!). But I've been feeling pretty blah about my fics. I'm at points in 5 of them where the next line is just painful to write. So even though I keep trying to jump around to keep going, I feel stuck there, too. Bah! I don't like feeling stuck!
My parents went to open houses today (they're going to buy a new house...it's scary. They've had this one since 1986) and they're seriously considering buying one. It's probably about 10 minutes away from where I live now (same school district- not that THAT matters, but just to give you an idea of how close it is) and it's my second least favorite color ever (BLEH!). But the weird thing is: I went to school with the guy whose parents own the house. His car was in the driveway, apparently. LMAO! Okay, so this probably isn't all that weird to anyone else, but when you live in a town as HUGE as this one and have a high school of 2,000+ people, it's pretty coincidental when you run into one (in this sort of setting) who had classes with you. I might go with them and see the inside of the house tomorrow. I don't know how the new house thing is going to work out. But idealy, I'd be pulling a Xander and paying some rent until I can get a higher paying job and afford to get an apartment or condo somewhere. Even better would be if they rented this current house out and I could move back into it one day when I have that job thing down. That would ROCK.
ALSO, I made a point to get icons for different holidays, so I darn well better remember to use them more often leading up to the holidays! *snuggles ghosty!Willow* I had a dream last night about Halloween Bookcrossing releases- probably because I'm thinking of releasing a Buffy book and a Poe book for Halloween. *celebrates*
