We got snow tonight!

Which reminds me, I need to update my photoblog... bad TG, falling so behind.

But, YAY! First snow of the year! It's not sticking to sidewalks or streets, but it's pretty. *sigh* I love the snow. Bring it on! Makes me feel all festive and celebratory!!!

First snow reminded me of what they do in UCSC during the first rain of the year. All of the students there run around naked! lol. I know, really off base... but it reminded me. lol.

At my college during the first good snowfall there's a snowball fight between the all male dorm and the corps of cadets. The cadets spend months on strategy and attack formations, and the civilian boys just run around throwing snowballs. It usually a pretty even match and starts on the drill field but the lines are sometimes pushed back across campus one way or the other, depending on who's winning.

But that's definitely not as fun to watch as naked people running about! *G*
