I'm home and still playing catch-up. But it's Friday! Which means
thefridayfive
1. What is the oldest object in the room with you?
Hmmm. Good question! Probably my grandmother's charm bracelet. It's in a cigar box along with a few other things I got in California to remember my grandparents by (some photos and shells and a button).
2. What is the newest?
My new Eeyore Light-Up Jelly Snow/Glitter Globe! I bought it a few days ago at Walmart. Is so cute *snuggles*
3. What is your favorite object in the room with you?
Oohhh that's difficult! Possibly my feather-stuffed blanket. My ex-boyfriend's parents gave it to me for Christmas a few years ago and I love it muchly. I take it with me when I go on trips. It squishes down really small and is soooo warm and soft. I love curling up with it. But, seriously, this is an extremely difficult question. *loves my room*
4. What is the most valuable object?
Most valuable in a monitary sort of way, would be my computer, definitely.
5. What is the ugliest object?
Um. Hmm. The only thing that comes close might be the gargoyle that sits above my monitor, looking down. I think he's incredibly adorable, but he might be considered ugly. (It's a bit of a stretch, though, I'm afraid)

Date: 2005-12-17 01:31 am (UTC)I missed your posts. Hope you had a decent trip. I was thinking about you yesterday and your corrupt influence on me. I was reading about Brokeback Mountain and decided that I wanted to see it. It sounded really good, that slash just doesn't seem so wrong anymore :) I don't think I'll have anyone to go with though. Are you going to see it?

Date: 2005-12-17 01:49 am (UTC)Thanks to the weather, the 3-day course was reduced to only 2 days. And, as such, some of the things I disliked most were dropped. Yay! And it was nice having a hotel room to myself for a few days. Got to lie in bed and watch a fantastic Capitals hockey game, too :-)
I DESPERATELY want to see Brokeback Mountain!!!!!!!!! I've been dying to see it for MONTHS now (especially since I've *loved* Heath since I was a teenager). But it's not playing anywhere near me. There's ONE theater in DC showing it, but that's about an hour trip by subway and would cost more to GET there and back than to see it. So unless it is shown in a theater closer to my home (for example, in my STATE!) I fear I might have to wait until it's out on DVD. I want to see it soooooooooooooooooooooooooo badly, though. If it were playing near me, I'd have been there!
*rubs hands together* Bwahahahahaha! I'm so glad I could corrupt you a little :-) It looks like such a great movie. Tragic, but great.
