Story: 2005 Gift for LilyFrost

Oh boy am I worried about this fic!!! The ending is far too short for my liking and I still don't feel I got a good handle on the characters. And the story's plot is silly and contrived and I could go on and on about how worried I am about it... but I'm honestly very glad you gave me an excuse to finally play around with the twins. I enjoyed them and I look forward to getting to know them better when I have more time to play. I really hope you enjoy this and that the characterizations and story isn't too far from what you've expected! Happy Yule to you! Blessed be!

Ee! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! *hugs* I really enjoyed that. Love the switch-idea... it's a classic. You captured them well.

I look forward to you playing with the twins more. :)

Merry Meet and Merry Part,
Bright the cheeks and warm the heart.

Not one, but two sick elves with sexy sleek raven-black hair for the price of one! Legolas is my passion, but I still find the twins irresistable, particularly when one is protecting the other, or when they feel the need to be together. I knew you were going to make them both fall ill, but it still made me squee with happiness when Elrohir starting feeling sick too!

And don't feel bad... I really enjoyed the switch! I do think it would have been fun if Aragorn had connected the dots and called them on it, but even so, I like how he could tell something was off, even if he wasn't 100% sure what.

As for your characterizations of the twins, I thought they were fine. There's very little canon to pin them down, one way or another, so you really do have a lot of room to work. You made them come off as competent adults, yet younger than a lot of elves, which is true, so I'd say you did a good job.

Loved the reference to Cirdan's beard slipped in there! Yes, I'm a canon-whore... *G*

Nice job with the names of the original character elves. Alfirin is such a pretty name, with a pretty meaning (the Simbelmyne flower, like on Theodred's burial mound...looked it up!), and I really like the name Laerglad. He sounds like a Wood-elf to me (name means 'Summer woods/forest'), and the name feels Tolkien-ish. I couldn't figure out the third name though. Care to enlighten me? :)

Finally, I have to thank you for the Prancing Pony scene where Elladan is holding the tankard of water to his face and trying to pass the evening attempting to contain his misery and illness. I totally melted at that part...classic example of what I love best in your fics! *hugs*
