It's definitely just one of those days. I got all excited last night opening Yule presents and writing that I somehow completely forgot to set my alarm. So I woke up 5 minutes before I was supposed to be at work. ARG! I called my boss immediately and he was still in bed, too. LOL I had breakfast and brushed teeth and as I was turning out of our housing development I nearly ran right into a car. Seriously my fault. I SWEAR I looked but I didn't see her (there's a curve in the road just prior). She honked and we just narrowly missed each other. I mouthed "Sorry!" to her twice but I felt HORRIBLE about it. I've never come that close before. And while I'm still in my "really cautious driving" phase, too. I'm still freaked out about it. It wasn't like I was rushing because I stopped and looked around at the corner... I just totally didn't see her. I feel horrible about it.

Work was... eh... okay. Nothing grand. People telling me what to do all day long (that's the problem with having two bosses now! LOL!) But the day got better as it went on, which is good. It's just... gah, I'm freaked out about nearly hitting someone. NOT what you want to have happen on the holiday, you know? I drove EXTRA specially cautiously for the rest of the day and will for a LONG time still, I'm sure. And I got an excellent parking spot when I went to CVS to pick up photos today... so there's kharma coming back to let me know everything's okay with me again ;-)

Oh! ANd I remembered last night that I forgot to bring and release a copy of LWW when I went to the movies. DOH! Maybe if RENT is still playing next week and I go again then I'll be able to remember and leave it then. *crosses fingers*

Sister wants online. So I'm heading off again. *sigh* I hate dial-up. Anyway... yeah... happy winter solstice everyone!!!
