Another Giftfic update...

I hope to have 3 finished by this time tomorrow night. I bought myself some goldfish crackers today and I'm going to sit down tonight and write up a storm until they get done! No more being roped into things in RL, I am DETERMINED to devote my time to finishing these... mainly because they're going through my head and I love them and I am DESPERATE to get them out! So I'm making it a job now :-)

Lady Korana- I haven't started yours but I have a definite idea of how it's going to start. Hopefully, once I start it, it will go well

GWT- I just got Volume III in the mail today. Woot! Hopefully within a month I'll feel confident to attempt a full-blown HH fic

Legolas093096- Again, I haven't started yours yet, but I do still plan to write it. I think I've decided on when to set it and what to do with it

Maria- I also intend to write yours, even if it is currently not started. I keep batting ideas around in my head and I think I know where I want to take it

Absolutely no pressure whatsoever. Work and post-Christmas chores will help me keep my fic anticipation in check...mostly! *G* Oh, and I bought a Legolas Ken Doll at the LOTR Museum exhibit, that I can't wait to take pictures of with my new digital camera, and put on my LJ. Now I just need to find him a Gimli...and see if the doll's clothing is removable ;) *snicker*

Sorry for the lateness with replies! I had a friend literally turn up on our doorstep because the place she was staying had to be evacuated because of all the bushfires. Today's been the first cool day for about two weeks - yesterday it was 112F!

Good news is that I did end up locking myself in the garage to work on your fic *g* Bad news is that since that time, everything has distracted me so I haven't had a chance to do it again! But I think when my friend goes home today I will have time to write some more :) I'd forgotten how much fun just writing was. Please don't expect anything brilliant, though! :)

Thank you for the dues fic! It was so sweet and aren't Archie and Horatio just gorgeous?? *g*

And OMG you have HH3!!!! WATCH IT NOW!!!! *g* Hehehe, got a little carried away there :) Hope you love it lots (although I'm sure you will - it's one of my favourites!)

PS I like your new layout! *g* Very spiffy. On one of my LJs (yes, I'm a freak), everyone is going through a redecorating stage with new banners and layouts and moodthemes so I thought it was funny you caught the bug too! It looks very nice, though!

heehee! I figured I should do something to it for the new year :-) I'm working on a title banner now, but I keep deleting it because I don't like it. So it's a work in progress, still :-) But I'm glad you like it so far.

What I'd really love is to be able to do one from scratch, with the layers and all that. But I fear that's beyond my knowledge and I don't have time to learn all I need to in order to do what I want to. I want a section on the right with all the tags I use in my journal, but can't find anywhere to tell me how to do that. *pouts* Maybe when I have more time... :-)
