Food, glorious food
Jan. 13th, 2006 10:34 amI still haven't come up with decent answers for last week's. I'm just not creative enough, I'm afraid. But here's this week's:
1. What is the most adventurous food you've ever tried?
Um... I don't know. I thought eating duck once was pretty adventurous. And some of the Indian dishes I've had certainly qualifies as that (especially blue-colored curry). But maybe cat food should be my official answer to this question. It was my first meat when I was a baby...
2. What is the most adventurous food you'd be willing to try?
I don't like trying adventurous foods. I like safe foods. Like plain rice cakes and low sodium triscuts. However, I've always wanted to taste Haggis, even though I'm a veggie. Maybe one day I'll try some of that.
3. Would you have a problem eating dog meat and why or why not?
What, eating DOG??? Hell yes I would have a problem with that. I don't want to eat fish or cow or pig or chicken so why would I want to eat a dog? It's no worse to me than eating a cow, though. I'm not going to go into the whole "but dogs are PETS not food" arguement because it's the same to me as eating any other animal.
4. For the most part, do you consider your diet to be balanced?
It's not bad. I'm sure I don't eat enough protein but I do work hard at it. I practically live off cheese and peanut butter. But I eat a lot of grains and fruits and veggies and sweets as well. So, yeah. I'd say it's balanced.
5. Which is more appealing- being a vegetarian for the rest of your life or being a strict carnivore for the rest of your life?
Uhhh since I already AM a vegetarian, and plan to be for the rest of my life, I think I'd have to go with that option. Duh!
