Such a novice... but I did it
Jan. 14th, 2006 10:34 amI'm such a novice at this ticket-buying thing. So I got up early to get Billy Joel tickets. I put in that I wanted the lower cost tickets... the seats I got (15 minute or less wait) were waaaaaay up at the top behind the stage. So I gave those up and said I wanted different seats and then they were all sold out a minute later. SHITE!
So I searched for the higher-priced tickets and there were still some available. They're still kind of far up. NOT behind the stage, mind. But if I'd just done that to begin with 15 minutes before I would have had much better seats for the same amount of money. DOH! Well, this is how I learn, right? Now I just have to work my arse off to pay for the tickets. LOL
But, hey, I have tickets. And that's what counts. There are SO few items on my "to do before I die" list so it's kind of exciting to be able to cross one off. I just wish I hadn't been such an idiot when it comes to the process. LOL

I posted a bunny check over at
sneezefic132. There are lots of moods claimed that I need to check up on. If I don't hear from you in a day, I'll start e-mailing/posting on journals.
I'm getting Showtime for free all month. It's such a strange feeling to watch Queer as Folk on my tv set instead of the computer DVD player! heehee Don't get me wrong, I love it. MUCHLY. I taped episodes 501 and 502 last night and The L Word. SO excited! Of course the free subscription will probably run out right when I stopped watching QAF. (Was recording at boss' but someone deleted one of the episodes and I refuse to watch them out of order). Still, I'm hopeful. Even a little Season 5 months before the DVD set is to come out is great in my book. Almost makes me forget how much of an idiot- a dirt POOR idiot- I am when it comes to buying tickets online. :-)
Also, my Vechy got his first Hat Trick last night!!! WHOOHOOO! I love that boy :-)
