Buying myself shtuff...

tarotgalI finally have enough in my bank account to think about buying a few things with the money I was given for Christmas. I bought The Island a few weeks ago because it was on sale for $14.75. Yesterday I bought myself (from Amazon.com) Enya's new CD and Star Wars: the Clone Wars Vol II (finally). I plan on hitting the bookstores tomorrow to check prices and then spend the rest (which is in giftcards) on the Brokeback Mountain from story to screenplay book, and then a few in the -ology series (Wizardology, Dragonology, and/or Faeriopolis). And then, if I have anything left over, I may get a manga :-) So it's like Christmas all over again for me. whoohoo!
I'm also going to hit Blockbuster and see if they have any previously-viewed copies of The Fantastic Four as I have a nice coupon for previously-viewed movies. And I have two free rental cupons which are going to expire in 3 days I want to use on *something*
Anyway, then I'll have all my pre-holiday "really must buy"s out of the way and can focus on buying the HH series on DVD and in book form *EG* Might be a while, though, considering rent. I'm going to be doing a fair amount of dogsitting in the next few months on top of my regular jobs, though, so maybe I'll be able to swing a purchase or two *is hopeful*
Then tomorrow I'm donating blood and leaving a BookCrossing book there as well. Bwahahaha! I've been participating in a weekly BC challenge for the first time (release books every week where the cover matches a specific theme) and I've been having loads of fun with that :-)
EDIT: *pouts* F4's too new to be previously-viewed already... but that's okay. I can wait. I'm sure I'll have other coupons down the road. I ended up renting Particles of Truth. *EG*
ANOTHER EDIT: And just to put a damper on my whole happy mood (after a lovely e-mail from Amazon.com saying they'd shipped my package today and another lovely e-mail from Blockbuster saying they shipped HH7 today) I got my VISA Credit Card Bill in the mail today. *groan*
