Fic Progress...

OMG I love this new LJ client, Semagic *snuggles* Makes me want to constantly write journal entries. Hmm. Maybe my flist doesn't like it so much... LOL

Anyhoo... I have been getting NOTHING of major importance written. I have all these fics with deadlines and all the other bunnies come a-calling instead. DOH!

What I SHOULD have been working on:

• Numb3rs fic for the Love Challenge- I wanted to have this finished Saturday. Arg. I didn't even touch it. I taped the show on Friday, though, so tonight I want to watch that and write while watching it. There are only two scenes left to write so hopefully I can get it done by the end of the weekend
  
• Spander fic for a challenge that's been stalled for a few days as I'm not sure I like where it's going. The thing's already overdue and I can't seem to make it go *prods muses*
  
• GWT's giftfic- haven't touched it in a few days. GWT, I sent you a few e-mails about it, just to check and see if pre-HH5 would be okay to write
  
• Maria's giftfic- haven't touched it in a few days, either, but I've still got a good feeling about it :-)
  
• SW Love Challenge fic- it's halfway done but I haven't written anything in it in days
  
• LotR Love Challenge fic- it's all just notes still. I have NO clue how I'm going to get it done in time for the challenge now. Eeep!
  

What I HAVE been working on instead:

• Really random SW Obi-rape fic- totally popped into my head Friday (was inspired by a comment on the M_A Yahoo list) and I've been writing it. Having trouble with wording, but I've been going to town on it instead of working on what I should be working on
  
• Even more random SW sneezefic that popped into my head yesterday that was terribly nummy and irresistable. Qui was all "Pleeeease tg! Look at the sexy, sneezy Obi-Wan! Write him instead!" and I was all "Okay, Qui-Gon. If you get naked I'll do whatever you say" and he was all "Clothes? What clothes? *hops into bed with sexy, sneezy Obi-Wan*"
  

Incidentally, all of these are open on my computer and clogging up my taskbar. You'd think that would be enough incentive to finish them, but nooooo. OMG I'm so not going to make the challenge deadline *kicks muses* At least the SW fic I'm writing for it is short.

I look forward to reading it. I suppose that's a whole new category - sneezefic. Kind of like mpreg. There will be whole lists and archives devoted to Obi-Wan's sneezes.

Funny, actually, that you'd post now. I just finished the portion of the fic where Qui-Gon runs into Bant (rather literally) :-)

As for 'sneezefic', well, I certainly cannot take credit for the term, even if I do now maintain the sneezefic archive. I'm not sure who coined it, but it was someone much greater and more creative than I am. As for whole lists dedicated just to Obi-Wan sneezing... I can but dream! LOL

Yes, I am absolutely a freak. But there are a bunch of people equally freakish out there so... *shrug* But everybody's got a thing, right? Mine just happens to be strangely rare and full of boy-torturing... and sometimes involves sexy, slashy Jedi :-)

It's not freaky. Just a little unusual and really such an ordinary thing. I suppose it's an offshoot of hurt/comfort. Sneezing is hurting but without the risk. More of uncomfortable/comfort fic!
