tarotgalLast night I nearly swallowed a spider. Just like that song about the old lady (you know, the one who swallowed the spider). I picked up my drink can to take a sip and a spider had crawled in. I felt something other than liquid hit my mouth and thought "odd". So I spit it out, I pulled back, and I looked down and a little spider (one I'd seen in my room the day before) was crawling back inside. EW EW EW EW EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! I cannot stress how EW that is. EW! EEWWWW!
They sent me the wrong HH disk. Instead of HH7 I got HH2. I still watched it again last night (because, yeah, geeky-studying!Horatio is love and so is Wedge in a Brittish naval uniform). But I would have liked to have received the correct disk. Hope they send it to me.
This morning I was woken up after 5 hours of sleep to hear a crash. I looked up and it was the Sugar kitty up on one of the shelves of my bookcase. She was batting items onto the floor and the crash had been her knocking my Grandma & Grandpa's coocoo clock onto the floor. ARGH! The thing barely works as it is, and she probably completely broke it now *cries* She's never been up there before, but I'm going to have to clear everything off the shelves when I get home today just in case, because there are many breakables. And then she pushed the tissue box onto my head TWICE as I was trying to go back to sleep. And then my very own Sithcat decided to chew on every plastic bag in my entire bedroom, despite me yelling at him to stop. Then, when I finally got up, frustrated, he jumped up and sat down on my keyboard. *facepalm* And, of course, Mom got up and made me go outside to get her something but only thought to ask AFTER I'd already poured milk in my cerial. *sigh* Then the cats knocked over the salt and pepper shaker on the table- where they know they are NOT allowed and that took a while to clean up.
And then I get to work and... boss is fast asleep. Lucky! MUST BE NICE! *issotired*
NCIS is on tonight. That's some happy to look forward to. I have SO fallen in love with that show. And Boston Legal's on, too. And I might catch some American Idol in-between.

Date: 2006-01-24 09:53 pm (UTC)As for Sithkitties, my cat is hereby added to the ranks. She woke me up hours before I had intended to be up and would not let me go back to bed. She meowed incessantly and hopped from the nightstand to my bed to the dresser and back again and again. She didn't break anything...this time...but she did knock lots of little things off surfaces, which can be dangerous. I once stepped on my glasses getting out of bed because the cat had knocked them to the floor. When she was younger, she liked to climb on my DVD shelves and onto the fireplace mantle, where she broke both of my Argonath bookends that came with the FOTR:EE. I was furious about that for a long time, even though I was able to superglue their heads and hands back on, but they don't look very nice anymore. So far, she hasn't broken anything more sentimental than that, but she's on notice. Sorry about your clock...
