More Stories...
Apr. 23rd, 2003 05:04 amNearly done with the HP one I started yesterday... it's going to be called Reunion. And it's a little different, but it's a lot of fun to write. I'm going to try and finish it tomorrow... I just need to decide on a plot point tonight... maybe it will come to me in my dreams.
Watched epsiodes 12-21 today of Queer as Folk. I'm almost sad to watch the last episode of the first season, knowing I have to wait a few weeks to see Season 2. Then I have to wait something like a year or more for Season 3. Ug. So I held off watching the last episode until today... though I've seen the prom/dance scene about 30 times by itself *sigh* SO sweet.
Got a LOT of work to do today that I've been putting off on account of not feeling well (btw, feel better, Hermione!!!! I hope it passes soon! Drink lots of tea!!)
I did watch Stargate tonight- an episode I hadn't seen before Cor'ai (I could be spelling that wrong) It was SO good. I love Teal'c. And I LOVE the friendship he and Jack have and how it's different from the one he and Daniel have :-) And Sam, well, she wasn't very prominant in this episode, but she had some great lines here and there. At any rate, ooohhh, great show! Which competed with Highlander tonight- episode Mountain Men- so really, there was no competition.
Anyway, I've decided I LOVE Emmet. Oh, and Ted. Ug. The whole QAF ensemble is fantastic!!! I'm really digging Mel as well. I think that's something the UK version lacks to an extent, a strong ensemble. There are the same great characters (with different looks, accents, and names) but the dynamic is different. The Emmet character isn't really part of anything, and the Ted character dies in episode 3. But they are INCREDIBLE parts of the US version. I can't imagine the show without them, as much as I love Justin, Brian, and Mikey. *sigh* I wish I could write characters like the QAF writers do. Such dialogues... such character progression... I'm so jealous! :-)

I'm hoping to have the story done today... it's short, but it's fun. Hopefully you will like it. I'm a little out of it right now (took medicine I shouldn't have) so I can't do actual work or do my errands.... so I'm going to write a little until head becomes as clear as it normally is LOL

Date: 2003-04-23 02:08 pm (UTC)Usually I'm not really into writing stories when I'm sick. But usually the stories which are written upon my recovery are much more realistic based on my symptoms LOL
Back to working on the story now... it needs another 2 pages for consistency... I'm just trying not to force it.
