The Friday Five
Feb. 18th, 2006 07:22 pmI'm a little late.
1. If you could go back and relive one moment or day from your life, without changing anything, what would you re-experience?
Um... hmmm. Maybe one of the days during my trip to Scotland, just to see all those places again.
2. If you could witness a moment in history, again without changing anything, what would you want to see?
I think it would be really neat to witness something of great historical importance... like the signing of the Declaration of Independence... or the fall of the Berlin Wall or oh! Yes, this is totally it for me, August 19th, 1745 in Glenfinnan, Scotland, on the shores of Loch Shiel, watching the Young Pretender, Prince Charlie, raise his standard for all the Highland clans to follow him into battle. Now THAT is something I'd love to be present for.
3. If you could talk to a younger version of yourself, what age would you visit and what message would you give?
I'd visit myself just before third grade and tell myself of all the crappy things about to happen to me and what to do to make it go better.
4. If you could choose one moment that would be guaranteed to happen in your future, what would it be and when would it happen?
Settling down with my true love. I don't care when it would happen, but hopefully before I'm 35.
5. Pretend you left a time capsule for yourself 5, 10, 15, 20 or more years ago. You just opened it. What three things from your past are you now holding and what age were you when you buried them?
Hmmmmm. Let's see. If I were in early elementary school I'd probably put in my first set of Legos, a pound puppy, and my brownie girl scout sash (which holds all your badges, for those of you unfamiliar with the uniform)
