Mar. 31st, 2006 01:49 amSo I started keeping a list of all the movies I've watched in 2006. I thought I'd post it every three months. I'm not sure if Alexander belongs on this list or not... I can't remember if I saw it in Dec or Jan and I'm too lasy to go through my LJ posts to see if/when I mentioned something about it.

Date: 2006-03-31 07:53 am (UTC)Although I love movies, I don't see many new ones that often. I haven't seen one in the theater since Narnia, and before that, the last ones were Corpse Bride and HP:GOF. I have yet to see King Kong, even though I swore I would see it in the theater, but I never got around to it.
Even on TV, I tend to just rewatch stuff I know I already like. Most of the time, I'm paying more attention to the laptop than what's on TV anyway. Today, I watched The Matrix and Kill Bill 2 while searching for fanfic and doing laundry.
However, today I watched 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' for the first time. I really enjoyed it, despite the depressing overtones. Also, I learned that still want to date Elijah Wood, even when he's playing a creepy pervy Geek. *G*

I very rarely see new movies. I hardly ever go to the movie theater (Brokeback is my one and only movie theater trip this year so far). I haven't been at all eager to see Kong... sorry Peter! But I'm just never all that excited about remakes of perfectly good movies. It's on my DVD queue and I'll definitely get to it, it's just not something I ran out to see.
I totally agree- I frequently rewatch movies I love. Heck, I must have watched Trick AT LEAST 10 times since January. I definitely would look like a complete loser if I kept track of every single movie I watched... so I just record the 'never before seen' and 'seen in their entirety' ones (if I miss more than 5 minutes, it doesn't get to go on the list).
As for the computer... I watch a LOT of DVDs on the left-hand side of my computer screen and surf or write stories in a document on the right side :-)
