I went to bed at 5:30am... woke up at 6:30am to drive boyfriend to campus. Ug. Then I took a bit of a nap from 7:30-12 though my new DVD drive came sometime in there- luckily I hadn't changed into pj's or anything and the guy from Airborne express was CUTE!!! Though I'm sure he could probably tell that he'd woken me up LOL Anyway, got the new DVD drive from Dell and it seems to work just fine. YAY! :-)
I just watched episode 2 of Queer as Folk UK. Oh. My. Gosh. Even the same music is used between the UK and US versions! LOL!!! Oh well, at least it allowed me to sing along. LOL I still like the US version better :-)
ANyway, so they're in a bar(this scene is slightly different in the US version) and what starts playing? Rolf Harris' 'Court of King Caractacus'. I was born near Australia, so I grew up with a record of his same as Sesame Street. But my gods!!! Sooo funny! There were drag queens doing hand movements and things... which I never learned... but I find it hilarious. That song is like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to me.
I had a weird childhood.
Anyway, it was fantastic to see it actually somewhere... and the same version I grew up with, too! :-)
