tarotgalThis working three jobs thing is starting to take its toll. I've been working 7+ hours each day this weekend and then coming home and doing another 5 or 6 hours at least at home one one and then another hour or two on the other. And tomorrow I've got another 3-day training to go to so I have to prepare materials for it. I got out of work at 7:30 today and sped to the copy center to find it closed at 7 and I need to copy over 200 pages and have them ready tomorrow morning at 7am CRAP! Looks like I'll be making a late night Kinko's run. *sigh* WHY do I always get in over my head? Because I have to pay rent, that's why.
So I haven't had time for ANYTHING fun lately. Haven't had time to post about stupid things like my recent pen battles (LOL). Haven't touched a fic in days, haven't managed any bday news (celebrated yesterday). I'm DEAD tired (for 4 hours last night) and I have a lot of work ahead of me tonight. Tomorrow is going to SUCK.
But I got in the car on my way home from work and ONE SECOND later Daniel Powdre's 'Bad Day' came on the radio. Is that good timing or what??? And then the next song was one from Queer as Folk ('True Faith') and then 'Total Eclipse of the Heart'. Damn, did they read my mind? Definitely kept my spirits up and kept me awake on the drive home.
Okay... gotta go do laundry so I have something to wear to business meeting tomorrow. Am staying overnight there on Tuesday since it's ending around 7pm. Gah. Life's gonna suck when you grow up when you grow up when you grow up. Life's gonna suck when you grow up. It sucks pretty bad right now...
And, yet, I feel VERY fortunate to have such complaints, you know? Could be a hell of a lot worse than lack of sleep and too much work to manage.
