I'm behind with Weekly Hatchings again, I know. Sorry about that! Will post this week's tonight for sure.
Playoff Hockey ROCKS!!!!! I soooooooooooooooooooo missed it last year. And I can't get enough of it now. 6 or 7 hours a day just isn't enough!!!
Has anyone else seen that Mac vs. PC commercial where the PC has a virus and sneezes repeatedly? And then they talk about it and the Mac guy takes the tissues and MAN I love that commercial. Muchly.
Speaking of commercials- those Jetta commercials FREAK ME OUT. Same thing that happened to me after I watched the movie Stay. Shocked and scared. I'm not surprise Jetta sales and information requests have risen drastically since they stared airing.
There's a book sale from the 4th through the 6th at the library down the street from me. Hundreds of books... lots of choices... and I have the day off tomorrow so I can go! SQUEEEEEEEEE! *does happy dance*
I got a new DVD in the mail yesterday from Blockbuster- Cowboys and Angels. I adored it. Really enjoyable. Highly recommended. I'm keeping it an extra few days so I can watch it with the commentary :-) But I really loved it. A good-guy gay boy, adorable boy wanting desperately to fit in, darkness, angst, humor, hits me where I live right now as well, sexy British & Irish accents, and artistic drives- what's not to love? *loves it*
My bank changed its website and bill paying system and it SUCKS now. I used to be able to log in, send a bill the next day, and have it get there the day after that. Now I have to send them 5 or 6 days in advance and then it takes 2 days at least to get there. I sent in a bill on the 24th and it still hasn't been cashed. GRRR!
My boss stole my pen. I use only Pentel RSVP pens. I'm obsessed with them. I love the feel, I love the look, I love the way they write. They inspire me and my muses adore them. And my boss keeps taking my pens without asking me. Last week he took it and started chewing on the end and ewwww! I told him he could keep it. And then he lost it. Grr! That's no way to treat the best pens in the world! I feel like that Kids in the Hall sketch where the guy gets all obsessed about his pen being stolen and chases after the guy's car... and then he attaches a long string to the pen so it can't be stolen again.
So far I've been keeping up with my fics. Yay. I haven't felt stressed yet... but the month is early yet!
I love Kakuro but I SUCK at it. Just one puzzle a week in my Sunday paper but I'm always sad when I finish it. I want more number puzzles. I find myself making Sudoku puzzles HARDER by refusing to fill in all the middle boxes until the end. They're just not challenging enough for me regularly any more! Gods, I'm such a geek.
