More books
Jun. 10th, 2006 03:16 pmDay two of the book sale... I intended not to buy much and it turns out I didn't. Tomorrow when I go I might buy a lot... there's a lot I'd LOVE to buy if it's available.
But today:
The above purchases came to $4.50 in total. Not bad. Not bad at all.
I was looking especially for a few books... including Hornblower books. And couldn't find any though I saw the HH Audiobook at the last minute and nearly squeed out loud!!! Oohhhhhh!!! I cannot WAIT!!! Sooooooooooo excited!
But today:
- The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde (I just saw Wilde for the first time the other day and I'm in a mood, naturally)
- The Vision by Deen Koontz (for my boss and his son)
- The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by various (different authors like Steven King and Dorothy Hughes write Sherlock Holmes stories)
- CD: Rufus Wainwright (because OMG I love Rufus- the sexy sexy boyo- and I don't own any of his CD's)
- Slapshots: The best and Worst of 100 Years of Hockey by Stephen Cole (small book but yay)
- Audiobook: Hornblower and the Hotspur by C.S. Forester (how the hell did I miss this yesterday? SQUEEEEEEE!)
The above purchases came to $4.50 in total. Not bad. Not bad at all.
