Friday- major drama at work *sigh* Not a happy work environment for two of my coworkers. *is sad*
Then even more drama at my old work (basically, my boss is a fucking IDIOT and screwed the website up without me and I don't know if we can recover- DAMNIT!!!)
Caps lost. Sad.
Sent on the LGBT bookbox. Sad to see it go, but I had FUN with it!
I also stopped by Total Crafts. They've been in business for 20+ years and they're going out of business in December. So massive sales. I bought a bunch of stuff, including my Christmas cards this year which are PERFECTION!
Saturday- in the morning I went to a nearby (30 minutes away) town with the cutest oldtown-type shops. I went to the Christmas shop and bought a few Christmas presents as well as an ornament for my BookCrossing secret santa pal (ornament exchange). Funny thing is, that person (the one I'm sending the ornament TO) is the person who drew my name and sent a package TO ME in the Halloween surprise! She doesn't know (yet) so I want to make sure it's a good present to her. I also bought a hockey ornament for myself- it's a goalie in Christmas colors. He's adorable! It was a lot of fun :-)
Then I went to hang out at a coworker's house. There was a big party one of the work guys was throwing and I had already decided earlier in the week not to go. But I thought I should hang out with them a little so as not to seem antisocial. BIG mistake. OMG so much shallowness- I can't take it. All I did was sit around while they talked on their cell phones and while one flirted with two guys. *head going to explore* So I basically wasted 7 hours of my life. It wasn't horrible... but I didn't have fun either, you know? I need to find friends who enjoy the stupid stuff I do.
And then the Caps lost again. BADLY. Very sad.
Sunday- I had to go out to get a DVD because I didn't do it Saturday because I was wasting 7 hours of my life doing nothing. But then I spent the rest of the day sleeping and watching movies and writing. See, THAT makes me happy.
Plus I did my first Hard-level Kakuro, without any mistakes! (I always do it in pen, like sudoku's)
I finished my pervy_werewolf Hawl-o-Ween fic, finally. I'm going to try to tackle November Joe Boys Calendar story tonight, too, so I can concentrate only on Strokes for NaNoWriMo.
Tomorrow I have to deal with the fallout at both works. Won't be pretty. I might or might not go to a rally one of the democrats running locally here is holding on campus. I probably will if I can tag along with coworker. And tomorrow after midnight I get to open my BookCrossing Not So Secret Halloween Surprise package! SQUEE!
