Which brings my whole grand weekend total to: 196 books for (yikes, good thing I have 4 jobs!) $88.50. That's $0.45 a book. Seriously, not bad. And now I will never have to buy another book again. LMAO! I'll never have time to read half of these. Thank goodness I've already read some of them, and a good box or two are just for BookCrossing with. I've got to find myself a cheaper hobby. LOL!

Okay, I'm off to eat some lunch and work on today's Kakuro puzzle. And then it's back to watching lovely, depressing movie and writing 'Visiting' (mmm. Jamiefic WITH sneezes *EG*)

Such cool finds!!! I'm so jealous of your books!!!!! So many good finds. My husband would have a stroke if I brought home that many books. I've recently started reading some of the Choose Your Adventure Books. We've read them in the car on long droves(when my husband is driving) and we take turns making choices.
Yay for the Harry Potter books too, I just picked up a paperback of HP and the Sorcerer's Stone at a bookswap at school. I think I may BC it. (Who could get rid of an HP book?) I also loved Island of the Blue Dolphins when I was a kid. I bought it for my daughter but she hasn't read it yet.

I'm looking forward to Visiting will you be posting that one soon????

Yeah. I recently acquired a new bookshelf... and my bookcrossing books are now in three boxes, not just one. But that was a heck of a lot of books for any normal person. But you should have seen some of the people who left there were hundreds of books each day. One had a dolly with boxes loaded up on it. Of course, she ran a bookstore, but that's so not the point ;-)

I just adored the Choose Your Own Adventure books as a child. I started writing a sneezefic in that style a few years back. Never finished it. Just sooo much writing involved in all the plot twists and storylines! I have much respect for those authors! I'm glad you and your family's having fun with them! :-)

(Who could get rid of an HP book?)
I know, right?! I have paperback copies of the first four and a set of post-it notes. I've been planning to sit down and mark them up for canon. One color post-it for spells, another for certain lines of dialogue, another for character references... maybe a special color for the puppies.
I've set a few HP books lose in the wild. In fact, my very first wild catch was the first HP book! Someone found it and took it to France with her :-)
My mom says I should release them in Churches ;-)

Seriously, yes. It will be up this weekend at the latest. I posted 5 Strokes stories this past weekend (see my writing journal for titles, etc.). I'm going to revise Moving In tonight and re-post it, though. There are a few more things I've decided I want to put in that one.

But I finished another Beginnings fic tonight (Olly) and the intro to that series has a bit of h/c of a sort.
But Visiting is five pages strong now and probably won't get too much longer. So I'll definitely have it posted this weekend. Thanks for asking! :-)
