All righty! I finally just posted 'Okay'. I wrote it back in June and have been wanting to post it for a while now. But it's a big story that... well... you'll see when you read it why I held off until now :-)
Title: Okay
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Jamie is determined to make things okay for his gay youth hockey team's goalie, Sin, but encounters resistance in the most unlikely places.
http://strokes.kintailscape.com/SeriesComplete.html (Fall 2006 story)
There are a number of stories I've written which follow this one. So I'll probably give this one a week to sink in. And then I'll post the other stories: Being Straight, Baby's First Visit, Hell is a Grocery Store... I think that might be it. I have Halloween half written and am excited about finishing that one, too because it's another big story. I actually think I should finish Beginnings: Toby before I post Halloween, though. Because it works better once you've read 'Late Call' and that works better after Beginnings: Toby. Ah. Complicated! LOL Point is, I'll be posting another 3 or so stories in about a week. In the meantime, enjoy Okay!

Date: 2006-12-04 12:33 am (UTC)Squee! My first bit of feedback! And it's good feedback. Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!
Jamie's my favorite character in the series, so yay for him being the good guy.
Yeah, he's definitely that, all right. He's got a very good head on his shoulders.
Sweetie and Nik were mean though, they should have let him stay. But then there wouldn't have really been a story.
Well, eventually they did let him stay. They just... didn't want to get burned. They've got their reasons for being cautious. There still would have been a story... just not the same one :-)
And I was extremelly amused that his name wsa Sinclair
Why were you amused? *doesn't get the joke*
but it was his surname so it wasn't that funny.
Okay. *still confused*
And I really liked him.
Yay!!
Are there any other stories with him?
Oooooooohhhh yeah. Two of the three I'm posting next week star Sin. And the other is sort of a follow-up to Okay. And then I have a number of stories planned and already written. I finished a story about him that's set a year after Okay, and I finished another that takes place about a year and a half after Okay. The guy is a *lot* of fun to play with. *G*
And Ducky, ha. Ducky's cool.
Poor Ducky :-) Glad you like him, though! I've got a bunch of stories left to write for his dating series. I want to do one per season, which means another 9 or 10. But I'm glad you like the guy, because I've already written a few stories where big things happen to him!
Thanks again for the fb!!! Made my night, really! :-)
