I finished my paper this morning around 6 (it was 31 pages long, 50-something with the appendices) and finished my presentation around 8:30, then I crashed. My freaking weird boyfriend woke me up a whole bloody HOUR before my alarm clock- it had taken me a long time to fall asleep the first time, so I couldn't go back to sleep, and thus, I'm VERY tired. But I just came back from presenting it and it went ok- probably in the top 5 worst presentations of my life, but I don't care. It's over! YAY!!!

Now I just have to work on club stuff since I'm "leaving" after 4 years of administration. And the THESIS. Can't forget that little bugger.

But this week is my free week. I'm going to sleep as much as I want, write whenever I want, work on my novels, finish some fanfic stories (I'm writing a new Tala POV fic right now I've been dying to finish), watch movies, sleep, boyfriend wants sex so I'm going to fit that in somewhere lol, and watch X-Men 2, and all that. This will be happy week for me *G* Looking forward to kicking it off with a snack and sleep right now... NEED sleep. I'm exhausted. And starving, but exhaustion wins out over going somewhere for dinner. Damn boyfriend, what was he thinking I would be awake at bloody 1:30 for? *grr* Anyway, happy me!!! :-)

I need to go shopping tonight... I am out of toilet paper and cat food- I timed them both to run out tonight as it was my first available free moment... but I need to get them tonight. I'm going to order Queer as Folk Season 2 on DVD tonight, too, as a finishing reward. YAY!!! :-)

Welcome back to the land of the living! It's been lonely without your fanfics around to keep us company (Incidentally, I don't think I've reviewed either your Snape/Sirius or your 'Reunion' series... Love them all!).

You muuuust go see X-Men 2! Nightcrawler rocks my socks. If I can't have my Gambit in any of the movies, then Kurt will do... And boy does he ever!

Thanks :-) Glad you liked Reunion and the Snape/Sirius fic(Deadly Medicine) both named after Highlander episodes... hrm... maybe I should try going backwards from title to fic... ANYWAY thanks :-)

And oohhh! I KNOW! I've heard such good things about it! Boyfriend just agreed to go see it with me. So in the next day or two I need to make him watch the first one (which I own two copies of) then I can go see 2. I'm SOOOO excited about Nightcrawler- I saw a few interviews with the lad who plays him and I was worried accent-wise but I hear he's fabulous as the fuzzy blue elf! Apparently Beast has, like, a second of screen time and Remmy's name is mentioned on a computer screen... I'm MOST interested in seeing Peter Wingfield as one of the baddie's henchmen... I've never seen him on the big screen apart from the last Highlander movie... *sigh* I'll stop rambling. Impressive rambling for someone who's not even watched the movie yet, eh? LOL

I was really worried about Nightcrawler at first as well... I didn't think he quite had the 'look' for Kurt. But he looks much different in the movie than he does in promotional photos. And the accent is awesome! You'd never know he wasn't a German native.

That's amusing, the bits that you mentioned regarding Beast and Remy and the Highlander guy were the very bits I mentioned in my X-Men potential spoiler cut a few posts back. Aah, we are geeks, and it is good!

LOL great minds think alike... I've been purposely avoiding spoilers- so thank you very much for that- I didn't read your post on that subject. I'm usually VERY bad with spoilers- I read everything I can before I go see something... but I've been trying to be good lately :-)

I'm SO glad to hear about Kurt, though... I'm looking forward to a nice live-action BAMF! :-) Not that I don't adore Hugh Jackman, especially as Wolvy... but there's just something about the elf... lol
