Oh my goodness, thank-you so much! This is a wonderful New Year's treat.

His reflexes still as good as ever, Spike's hand flew downward and grabbed hold of Xander's wrist. "I mean it, Pet." One night in bed had apparently earned Xander the pet-name already. "Don't start with me right now. I don't feel good."

Loving Spike calling Xander 'pet,' Xander's dry internal reaction to to, and most especially loving Spike's admission. Mmm.

"Wait, colds? As in plural?"

I love Xander picking up on that little detail! And I love Spike's matter-of-fact description of how he'd been fighting the cold, and thought he had it beat, but them maybe not so much. So hitting my kinks. :)

The whole thing is totally yummy. Thank you so very, very much!
