tarotgalA little bit of happy news, much needed after the troop increase and the news this morning about the bombs and shootings in Baghdad.
And this is probably old news to most people- I'm always the last to hear everything and I know it was in some papers a few days ago- but Alan Cumming got married! He had a civil ceremony just outside London and got hitched to illustrator Grant Shaffer. Awww. Yay Alan!
"Not only are we happy to be able to celebrate our love for each other, but also to be able to do it in a country that properly recognizes the rights of same-sex couples. As residents of America, we would have loved to marry there, but we hope that soon the civil rights that we have been afforded in the U.K. will be available to gay Americans, and we look forward to celebrating not only our marriage, but the end of prejudice."
