One of the things I want to own and/or at least drive sometime in my life is a DeLorean. Even though the model is about 25 years old they still sell for around $20,000 because they were considered luxury cars in the 80s and not many were made or sold compared to other cars at the time. (They also weren't very popular because water leaked in through the rubber of the seagull doors.)Some day I will own one.

There is a really neat gold plated DeLorean in the Reno car museum that was given away as a promotional contest for a credit card in the 80s. I don't need one like that, though. Just a plain gray one is fine with me. :-)

Gold plated? Wow, that is a bit extravagant.
I always wanted to jump into the car at Universal Studios, though. They should let you do that, like they do/did with Kit from Knight Rider. That would totally rock.

Sad to hear that they still sell for so much- that makes perfect sense, but grrr! I definitely wish you luck with your goal of owning one! ANd when you do, I totally want a ride :-)
