Farscape?

Help. I need someone to explain the whole Farscape on DVD situation. I tried googling it but I keep running into TONS of spoilers and I'm only 6 episodes into season 1 so I don't want massive spoilers at this point.

So my problem is that Blockbuster Online doesn't seem to have Farscape Season 2. It's got the complete first, third, and fourth season. It has the Peacekeeper wars (season 5), it has those little mini sets of 4 episodes each per season (teasers? best ofs? I dunno what they're there for), and it has something called the starburst editions.

Are part of the starburst editions season 2 by any chance? And if so, which disks would they be? Or is that something completely different? Am I just screwed and doomed to stop my viewing of the show after season 1?

I'm very confuzzled. Anyone have an answer for me? THANKS in advance!

Farscape [TV Series]- This release contains four episodes from the fourth season of the science fiction television series Farscape.

Farscape: Season 04- No description, but it's the complete 4th season (All discs)

Farscape: Season 03- No description, but it's the complete 3rd season (All discs)

Farscape: Season 02- This disc contains four episodes from the second season of the science fiction series Farscape.

Farscape: Season 01- Weird description, but it's the full season 1 (All discs)

Farscape: Season 3, Collection 5 [2 Discs]- This collection of four episodes from the third season of the popular sci-fi series Farscape has been given a quality presentation for this release on DVD.

Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars- I realize this is season 5, AKA the wrap-up ending of the series

Farscape 7: Starburst Edition, Vol. 3.1 [2 Discs]- No description, and I have NO CLUE what's on these disks (3.1? WTF?)

Farscape: Starburst Edition, Vol 10 [4 Discs]- No description, and I have NO CLUE what's on these disks

Farscape: Starburst Edition, Vol 11 [4 Discs]- No description, and I have NO CLUE what's on these disks

Farscape: Starburst Edition, Vol 12 [4 Discs]- No description, and I have NO CLUE what's on these disks

Farscape: Starburst Edition, Vol 5 [2 Discs]- Description is a general summary of Farscape, no episodes mentioned, so I have NO CLUE what's on these disks

Farscape: Starburst Edition, Vol 6 [2 Discs]- No description, and I have NO CLUE what's on these disks

Farscape: Starburst Edition, Vol 8 [4 Discs]- No description, and I have NO CLUE what's on these disks

And that's it. Growl. I guess if worst comes to worst, I can just try joining Netflix for as long as it takes me to get through season 2. But if someone could make sense of what episodes are in these "volumes" that would be easier. Poor Farscape. LOL

I've always thought Farscape had the most confusing DVD sets out there...
There is a Season Two DVD out there[it came out in 2003]...but there are also Starburst Editions of Season Two [and all the other seasons, which I think came out in 2006].
Starburst editions have more extras than the original releases...
Then there are the sets of four episodes, which also exist for nearly all the seasons-
I love the series, but hate the DVDs *g*

You didn't make anything worse, you just didn't help, I'm afraid.

My problem is that Blockbuster Online does not have the Season 2 DVD set. It has the set of four for season 2, like I said, but I want to watch the whole season.
And it has some of the Starburst editions, as I said, but I don't know which of the many Starburst edition disks contain season 2. So if I can't figure that out, I've no way of watching season 2 and, thus, will have to stop at the end of season 1. Which is sad.

Do you have to get it from Blockbuster ? Amazon.ca sells the complete season 2 set. I'm sure Amazon.com has it as well. They also have a complete description of what's on the starbursts edition sets. Seems complicated though. Hope that helps a bit.

I have boxsets of all 4 seasons of Farscape. They're not the Starburst editions with the bonus extras (and cheaper price...why I had to pay such an unholy amount for fewer extras is beyond me!), but you're more than welcome to borrow season 2 from me. I can mail it too you, and you can keep it as long as you want, as long as it makes its way back to me eventually. Just let me know!
