DVDs!

Well, we managed to drive an hour over to Best Buy (and back again, obviously) FINALLY! I bought season 2 of Queer as Folk (I'm going to watch episode 16 in a moment, yay!) and I also bought The Chronicles of Narnia set- the live action BBC movies that were put out when I was a kid. I love them. I know a lot of people don't like this or that and the special effects are nonexistant, but I'm in love with them for that reason- they're beautifully done IMHO and I love the characters (I've always had a crush on Peter... and on Edmund at times... and Eustace at times... and I've always envisioned myself as Lucy) Anyway, I have them taped off TV but I've watched them SO many times the tapes are nearly falling apart- have lost their labels several times, etc. So it was time to buy them. I'm looking forward to having them for a very long time now :-) YAY! :-)

Happy DVD day- I got an A in my course this semester- so my final gpa is a respectable 3.7128... which isn't spectacular (it IS grad school) but for Computer Science, it's really not that bad, and it's much higher than my boyfriend's so I've got bragging rights at any case *G* I'm happy with it :-) So the DVD's were my present to myself for finally getting through the coursework.
