Next weekend

tarotgalSo next weekend's what I've been waiting for for years. I can't wait for the party, and I intend to get the book and read it as soon as I get home with it. I will probably paperclip the last few pages together because I am sooooooooo curious and tempted to read the last line. Ever have been since that interview where JKR mentioned writing the last chapter and saying what the last word is. I don't trust myself; thus, the paperclips.
I've been planning to hang out in my room, cut off from computer and tv completely, reading eagerly but slowly enough to enjoy every bit of it- only one chance to read the book the first time, right? I'll stretch out on my couch with Padfoot & Moony, a pack of jelly slugs and a chocolate frog or two and read until I'm done.
However, I learned last night there's a hockey game in town. And I learned a few hours ago that it's going to be on the 21st! It's between a hometown group and a group from Scotland. (And if I haven't said before, I'm obsessed with Scotland). I can't possibly miss it, but I don't want to leave the book!
So I was just coming to terms with the fact that I'll have to go a few hours without reading it, when my mother comes down and says there's a very real possibility that all of my mothers sisters and brother will be coming to town next weekend. ARG!!! Why THAT weekend? *cries* So I don't know what's going to happen now...
