I went to a thrift shop today. Had some trouble finding it (um, because I thought I knew where it was in downtown Fairfax and I apparently did NOT have a clue and I didn't bother looking at the directions). They have a "fill a brown paper bag for $5 sale every month and August's was today.
I filled two bags full of books- about 10 of which I'm keeping for myself. The rest I'm BookCrossing with. And I was so happy yesterday when I got through half of my "needs to be registered" box! Now I have about 110 books still to register. Crap! LOL They're good books, though. I'm happy about it. Nothing terribly spectacular. Definitely worth going. I got several nice hardcovers, a Golden Book about Eeyore, a dozen classic children's stories, an audio book, a Charmed novel, two Tolkien role play books, and a whole BUNCH of paperback novels. I'm not going to list them all out, though, because I'm nicer than that. LOL
They came out to $0.12 each, though. NOT bad at all if I do say so myself.
