Super Geek!

Okay... I'm in geek OVERDRIVE here!
1. I want to buy half the inventory over at http://geeklabel.com. I was just turned onto the site and OH MY GODS I desperately want to buy a "Flame On!" apron even though I don't cook and I NEVER grill. A superhero needs to be ready in case she needs to grill though. And how fucking awesome would I be with a "Flame On!" apron? Soooo cool and hilariously clever.
2. I discovered a comic book shop not far from where I work. I gathered my courage and went in today to buy my first comic books from a real comic book store (as opposed to a book store or getting them second hand). Yeah, it's not much, but I could totally be addicted to that place. It's like walking into geek heaven, with all the geek geer and action figures and toys there *G*
Anyway, I bought what they had:
Highlander issues #8 & #10
Buffy Season 8 issues #4 & #5
Spike Shadow Puppets issues #1 & #2
But I can't read the Highlander and Buffy ones out of order... so I'm going to have to buy them online at the stores or eBay. The search is ON! I very nearly bought some Fantastic 4 comics as well, but I think spending $20 on my first visit is good; more and I wouldn't have been able to come home and win my eBay auctions for Legos. OMG I'm drowning in my own geekiness. Help!
(And by help, I mean encourage me. LOL!)

Date: 2007-08-29 03:52 am (UTC)I would always go on the first Sunday of every month because there was only one hot guy working the register then. I haven't gone in this month though because I've been working all day and by the time I got off work the store has been closed. Sunday is the only day of the week the guy told me he works there but I think I may have to start going in other days or else I won't be able to go in at all...
I've read a few other Buffy comics that are better, but the Buffy season 8 comic is good. Interesting and strange in some ways, but good. Hope you can get caught up.
