Point is, I predicted what was going to happen but still found myself sobbing unrestrainedly when Gillian coded. Oh my gosh. SO sad. I know, I used to watch ER ALL the time so I should have been prepared... birth and death in the same episode. But still... SO sad. It's the things you don't prepare for... you know?
*sniffles*
On a slightly happier note, I think I'm going to be a brave girl and go and see the new Ewan movie in theaters opening day BY MYSELF! Yes! My first solo movie venture ever. Yes, I'm a loser, but nearly everyone's out of town and I know I'll never be able to drag boyfriend (I STILL haven't been able to get him to go to X2 with me!!! *GROWL!*) so I think I'm going to use this as my excuse to be brave :-) And it's Ewan... I mean... seriously... even if it is PG13, it's Ewan. And he's worth my being brave, huh? :-) I just need to wake up sometime before 7pm for the plan to work. LOL!

Down with Love
Hey- post on how the movie is after you see it. I SOOO want to go. Hubby Definately won't go, so I am thinking of trying to get some women friends together to see it- but I'm not sure. I so want to see it. I almost went to go see "What a Girl Wants" due to the presence of Colin Firth... but couldn't bring myself to.... so I'll wait till it is on video. Although *grin and blush* I just Finally rented A&E's Pride and Predjudice and.... *starts blathering incoherently*
Anyway... I can totally relate to Having to see a movie due to a particular fav.-- but I also really think that "Down with Love" looks really cute. So if you see it- let me know what you think. Thanks!!

Date: 2003-05-14 11:16 am (UTC)Then again, I really liked 'Simply Irresistable'(93) for the plot and that's a movie that everyone apparently hated. So maybe that says something about the influence of my favorite guys in the lead roles?
I do want to go see it, though. And I'll be sure to let you know how it is without any spoilers :-) Not that the plot isn't predictable... but you never know :-)
As for A&E's Pride and Predjudice- I haven't seen that in SUCH a long time that I hardly remember it... I think I'm well overdue for a renting :-)
