Fantastic Four
Oct. 20th, 2007 05:18 pmAnyone notice how I'm rather taken with the F4 lately? ;-)
I just watched Nightmare in Green (episode 22 in the 1994 Fantastic Four series). Definitely my favorite episode yet:
Reed has a bad fever and everyone goes into caregiving mode- they do the whole insist he take it easy, carry him to bed, washcloth on forehead thing
Bruce (Hulk) comes into town and gets all posessive over "friend" Rick
When Sue leaves to help Thing & Torch fight Hulk, Reed tries to push himself to help, even though he's still feverish (and sitting in a big ol' tub to help regulate his fever)
Dr. Doom spies on sick!Reed and comments about how vulnerable he looks like that
And then Ben appears to be dead after the fight so everyone's crying over him and it's Johnny who sits next to him, crying the most cuz we all know how much he cares about Ben even if he won't admit it. Ben calls Johnny a sensitive 90's guy when he comes to
*sigh* Much love. I couldn't have written it better myself!
Okay, so I missed out on going to the library today, but I'm going to return this DVD to blockbuster (and, um, possibly get out Ghost Rider because I totally have this Marvel character crush going on at the moment) and hit Giant Foods and get back before the Capitals game at 7.
Last week's episode of Torchwook didn't tape for some reason, either. Gotta make sure to get that when it repeats this afternoon.
I totally need to list my opinions on new shows... and finish my FaerieCon report... and clean this room... and continue dressing up my books for the Halloween-themed BookCrossing meeting next Sunday.
