Life?

So it's been a rocky holiday break. Thanksgiving was okay for me (my least favorite holiday of the year- below flag day and secretary's day, even). I got to watch the entire season 4 of the L Word, so that's good. Then I nearly died of fright while dogsitting and I'm pissed and still not paid. My other dogsitting gig got cancelled which is sad but makes it easier to medicate cat and write this week. My novel isn't going too well (it's REALLY slow- I've been on the same chapter for days). I got 4 Harry Potter Lego sets I ordered and put them together- they rock. I bought some things on the Adrian Paul eBay auction. Today I saw Beowulf (yikes, not as good as I thought it would be). Aaaaaaand I went out on a date that officially became a date and a little more :-)

So good and bad. Mostly good. I'm exhausted but I'll try to generate bunnies tonight and I'll post here about giftfics, as well because I just found the notes I made about it.

Sorry about Thanksgiving - I know you hate it. I was hoping to write you a short fic - I had the idea brewing during the day Thursday but I was too tired to write by the time I had a chance. It'll be short(and probably lame) but I may try to finish it this week.
