I'm heading out to Iowa alone tomorrow for the funeral and plan to be back Wednesday.
My coworker gave me tickets to the Capitals game today. My sister and I went. It was wonderful though the Caps lost in OT (again). We had a nice sister bonding time and lots of much-needed smiles after the last few days we've had.
My computer's been going crazy. I installed some new backup software that took 3 days to work and yesterday my computer totally freaked out. When I booted up, it took about 15 minutes and then said it couldn't load my profile and sent me to a blank desktop. But it seems to be working all right now *crosses fingers* And, if not, it's mostly backed up :-) It's totally time to buy a new computer, though. Hopefully it will wait another paycheck or two, though.
I'm doing laundry so I'll have something to wear to the funeral and haven't packed yet.
I'm watching the Oscars... I've got $5 riding on it. I took second place in the office pool last year and so far I'm doing all right but not spectacular (9 correct, 4 wrong, and still quite a long way to go)
