The Plan of Attack
Mar. 25th, 2008 12:09 amBwahaha! I love new fandoms *G*
The plan of attack:
1.Watch Doctor Who Series 1 (liked it WAY more than I thought I would)
2. Watch Doctor Who Series 2 (4 disks down, 2 to go!)
3. Re-watch Torchwood Series 1
4. Watch Doctor Who Series 3
5. Read Doctor Who Comics that I'm buying and saving in a pretty boarded & bagged pile until I meet Martha properly
6. Re-watch Torchwood Series 2 (in as much as I can- I've DVRed some of it to watch & re-watch but I'll buy the DVDs as soon as they're out)
7. Read whatever Doctor Who & Torchwood books I can get my hands on- which is a couple so far
8. Re-watch Queer as Folk UK because of Vince's Doctor Who fixation
(You know how Michael in the US version loves comics? Well, Vince loves Doctor Who. During the birthday party scene, instead of Brian buying 9. Astroman Comic #1 and having a guy dress up as Astroman, Stuart buys Vince K-9 *G*)
9. Pester the heck out of someone until my pretty Torchwood Magazine arrives. Might need to buy Issue 1 off eBay if I subscribed too late but I want Issue 2 now, damnit!
10. Well, I can't think of a ten but I'm anal and couldn't leave this list at 9 so, here I am.
Um... yep. I'm officially hopeless. And this isn't even counting the John Barrowman CDs, iTunes songs, and autobiography I've bought over the last few weeks (already listened to him read his autobiography in audiobook format, but I want my own copy to pick up and read whenever). Did I mention that not this past Sun but the one before when I went to the thrift shop I found an old Doctor Who book? Okay, I've told myself I don't NEED or really WANT to go back and watch all the series... in fact, that'd be impossible. But it's tempting nonetheless. I don't like to do anything half-assed. Which is why I wasn't content with taking Torchwood as it was and leaving it at that. Blame it on Captain Jack Harkness ;-) Oh, and time travel. Can't resist that, can I?
